Experienced Trainer
A good motorcycle mentor is not just someone who has been riding for a long time; they are someone who has been trained and evaluated by a recognised organisation such as IAM RoadSmart, and takes their role as a mentor seriously in order to be really effective in training others.
I can highly recommend Andy as a Motorcycle Mentor. After 46 years of riding I had a fear of not being able to ‘train out’ bad habits, but his encouraging style, and passion for biking to be safe and enjoyable are fantastic.
Even discovering new rides and cafes! Outside of the training, I feel like I’ve gained another ‘biking buddy’ who no doubt will be forever ‘watching’ to see if I deviate from the skills I’m picking up on every ride.

WHY I DO WHAT I DO
As an highly experienced, accredited and qualified instructor, mentor and rider, Andy's passion for riding motorcycles has led him into taking his knowledge and skills into various motorcycle outlets including being a long standing member and former regional County Representative for the Royal British Legion Riders Branch.
Being an advanced rider having also completed the Police Foundation 'Motorcycle Roadcraft' course, Andy is also a member of the 'Freewheelers' Emergency Voluntary Blood Bikes which provides a free emergency transport service to the NHS 365 days of the year and he is also a rider and driver with local Emergency Community Response Volunteers.
