We work with riders who already hold an A1, A2, or full A licence and want that extra bit of support to improve road awareness and learn more advanced riding techniques. You’ll be guided by an experienced mentor with advanced training credentials, focused on your individual development using a recognised system of roadcraft.

What You’ll Need:

  • A roadworthy, road-legal motorcycle

  • A valid UK licence

  • An approved helmet

  • Appropriate protective riding gear

Whether you’re looking for a confidence boost, an introductory advanced riding session, or a road assessment from a seasoned instructor, we’re here to support you at your pace. These sessions can also serve as a stepping stone before enrolling in a full advanced riding course—giving you the motivation and insights to elevate your riding to the next level.

What is the benefit of Advanced Rider Training?

Learning to ride a motorcycle doesn’t stop once you have passed your basic test. Many experts would argue that money could also be well spent on advanced motorcycle training, especially for new riders and even for those who have been riding for much longer.

Advanced riding is the ability to control the position and speed of the machine safely, systematically and smoothly, using road and traffic conditions to progress unobtrusively with skill and responsibility.  It is based on the Police system of motorcycle control, and our courses teach you advanced-level motorbike skills and riding techniques used by the emergency services including Voluntary Emergency Blood Bike riders as well as those with the civilian, National Escort Group and other commercial outrider services.

An added benefit to Advanced Motorcycle Training is that your risk status drops and therefore it could mean much cheaper insurance premiums.  You may even wish to go on to become an Advanced Rider Trainer yourself?
